Wishing you weren’t gone

This poem is dedicated to my dearest friend Mary Likimani

Sitting down crying wishing you weren’t gone

As I cry I remember all the sweet memories we had.

Wishing you weren’t gone hoping to go back in time when we first met

We laughed and had good times not caring where our future lies

As you are moving far away

I wish you best wishes

Even though you are gone I will always be your friend

You showed me love and compassion and nothing can ever change that.

Remember distance means so little when someone means so much .
